Vibration Isolation:
Vibration Isolators provide protection and reduction of the unwanted and destructive energy caused by vibration. Machines are mounted on resilient materials composed of rubber. The materials act as shock absorbers, isolating the vibrations of the machine from the surrounding area. Vibration is isolated by either compression, deflecting the vibration in the direction perpendicular to the mounting surface, or shear, deflecting the vibration in the direction parallel to the mounting surface. Thus, increasing the capacity of metal, wood, concrete, and other materials to withstand stress and strain.
