is a family owned business established in the 1940's. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, we manufacture and assemble a vast line of mountings for machinery and instrumentation vibration isolation. Originally, Apex focused on providing manufacturers with exclusive custom molded rubber products. Today, while custom molding is still available, we are renown for supplying our national clientele with over 40 standard molded rubber Vibration Isolators at competitive prices.
Apex works for you! Our Vibration Isolators come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes for both compression and shear mounting. We offer numerous thread sizes as well as various cylinder sizes to meet your needs. Both natural and synthetic rubber compounds can be made. Exhaustive laboratory and complete field-testing, over a period of many years, have provided the basis for the development of an extremely absorbent rubber compound. The natural rubber compound is specially developed for extremely high vibration and absorption rate and low noise transmission. The synthetic rubber compounds are able to withstand unusual environment and atmospheric conditions. Metal parts are chemically bonded to rubber under heat and pressure to insure a permanent rubber-to-metal adhesion.
Apex is flexible! Standard Isolators can be modified to suit exact customer specifications. Different mounting studs, including metric threads, higher load ratings, and special synthetic rubber compounds are available to meet unusual service applications. Custom molded isolators can be designed and fabricated to almost any size, shape, or specific customer requirements.
